This is a small vintage wood carving of a native/tribal woman wearing a headdress with many intricate details.
The carved woman has an overall "Mayan" (Southeast Asian Inspiration) appearance and is wearing a necklace fitted over a collar/shawl wrapped around her neck & shoulders, she appears to have a bare chest with wavy lines carved around underbust, has chunky gauged ears, an up-do ponytail and is wearing a large headdress with intricate sunflower-like cutouts and a triangle with appears to be a flower in the center carved in the middle above her head. This figurine also has the name Perry Crampton written in black marker along with the year 1973, and has the word "BALI" carved in simple lettering all at the bottom of this piece.
This is a 9.5" tall carving from top to bottom and is 4.5" wide from shoulder to shoulder, 5.5" wide from one side of the headdress to the other and has a depth of 2 to 2 1/2" at certain parts.
This collectible carving/figurine comes in good pre-owned condition.
