Desert Skye Pipe Band Silk Tie Blue Stripes Lion Shield

This is a two tone blue striped silk tie with a lion seal that was made exclusively for the Desert Pipe Band.

The tie is navy and light blue striped with a white and navy blue lion seal. On the back is a label stating it was made exclusively for the Desert Pipe Band, and another label stating it is 100% silk.

The Desert Pipe Band was formed in 1999 by Daniel Packer. It consisted of 2 bagpipes and 1 drum. The original name was Desert Skye Pipes And Drums. Today the name is Las Vegas Pipe band. It is a class 4 and 5 competition band with over 30 members. They wear the official Nevada tartan registered with Lord Lyon of Scotland.

This tie is in very good pre-owned condition and measures 58" long and 4" wide at the widest part.
