Vintage 1920s Sunbeam Corded Iron Removable Cord Metal Case

This is a vintage 1920s Sunbeam electric iron with the original metal box.

The iron has a removable black wood handle on top and a removable black electric cord that slips on over two prongs. 

It comes in the original black metal fireproof box, with storage instructions inside. the iron measures 4.25" tall, 6" long not including the cord, and 3" wide. The box measures 7" tall, 8" wide, and 5.5" deep.

It is in good preowned condition with some rust. The iron comes with the original cord as well, but the bakelite piece that attaches it to the iron is missing a screw. This iron is untested due to the age of the cord.
