Antique Original Ivory Soap Magazine Advertisement April 1913 Matted

This is an antique original matted Ivory Soap advertisement from a magazine dated April 1913. This ad features circus workers cleaning gilded figures and scroll work on their wagons with Ivory Soap.

In the advertisement, it provides the following directions:

"Here is an Excellent Way to Clean Gold Frames - Shave half of a small cake of Ivory Soap into a pint of water and boil for 5 minutes. When cool, apply this jelly with a very soft brush or sponge. Then, with a clean soft brush or sponge, apply cold, clear water and let it dry immediately in a warm place."
