This listing is a signed and numbered, limited edition lithoprint titled "Ghost Dance Sept 1890". It is numbered 139/350 and the name of the artist is indecipherable.
The limited edition was professionally framed and matted by "The Colonial Gallery". The piece features a torn paper edging and three Native Americans in the middle. Two have their back turned and the third is facing the front with the words "Ghost Dance Sept 1890" underneath him and the "Ghost Dance" (a new religious movement) written beside him. There are multi-colored feathers above the Natives with the number 36 to the right of the feathers. Below are multi-colored feathers, the Artist's signature, and the number of the print.
The frame is a light pinkish beige and measures approximately 30" x 23.5" x 1.25". The print itself measures about 22" x 15".
The matting is textured and cream in color.
This beautiful print is in very good pre-owned condition.
